Hi,
A few months ago I was the ME 66 microphone with phantom power for the XH-A1s recommended.

Has something changed since now or is this microphone is still top? Is there a slightly cheaper alternative?

You were sure the ME 66 with K6 recommended because it just will not operate on phantom power, but synonymous with Battery can. Or does the Camera phantom power? With the ME 66 You are already built well above what people usually such s.eine Camera. Maybe that's good enough even the Rode NTG 2, which I can not say anything.

So now that I have read some of the NTG 2, I will stay for now but the better quality 66th ME I think such an investment worthwhile s.Ende but more with the ME 66 and ultimately are all satisfied.

Good microphones remain synonymous still good for years:) So it is still "top".

The alternatives are as already mentioned, the microphones of Rode consider (NTG 1 and 2) and synonymous Beyerdynamic has appropriate on the shelf ...

All moving at a relatively good level, so you can access there without hesitation.

Do you have something left over coal, look once synonymous Sennheiser MKH416 P ...

Thank you for your tip synonymous, but ¬ 370 to me but enough. Had already asked for a cheaper alternative synonymous. ;)

What exactly is distinguished from the ME 66 is what the NTG 2 has not, for example? But not only the name of it?

Who says that you get even better with the ME66 results?

I think the Rode NTG of absolutely everything and see it as usable on a par with the Sennheiser ME66.

There were only these criticisms that the NTG2 sometimes was too quiet, but that was probably only in this "mini-jack problem" of the case.

I wonder sometimes simple: What would you recommend award of the microphones in terms of performance?

Clean the touch is probably the ME66 in front, but if you want to pay attention to's budget and always have phantom power available, then the very favorable NTG-1.
The NTG-2 is indeed battery powered - but let's just good 6cm longer. As an on-Camaera mic really quite a Klopper I think.

The output level of NTG's (I can only speak from NTG1) is too small I can not confirm.

Good question ... also I've honestly never done before thoughts.

But if the ME66 with a single 1.5V Battery allows up to 150 hours operating time - I'd be synonymous in this respect no worries: D Since then likely go flutes little battery power ...

you say it themselves "almost". I have not had NTG2.
It is supposed to be really good. From experience I can report that many people, the ME66 and the NTG, had been of the latter are quickly separated, but maybe I came from the synonymous only pretending. I have in any case, my ME66 and I no longer give her.

Good, I my 300 ¬ for the non Classifieds on Ebay, even bad. :) Too bad you do not know why they have separated from NTG. But Rush said that the ME 66 and NTG just "almost" the same subject. I just would rather save 100 ¬ - really. Boggles my mind somewhat. ;)

The Sennheiser are just already there for ages and is therefore used of many people ... it's synonymous a good microphone - no question.

Just as some people prefer the ME66, which the people are synonymous NTG like better ...
