Hello all together,
I know that this question has often been made, but I am now somewhat confused.
is repeatedly told one that one of the drives will not camcorders and so burden with another device which will play recorded tapes. I thought to myself, I ask for views on sony professional: the thought that the vx 2100 drive is not bad and it would be sufficient and that these VTRs have been developed primarily because once the computer still does not cut it and it was present even with all these VTRs has managed.
I film in the year about 20 to 25 tapes, and really do not know now, really now, how far the drive during play mode is worn. is that at all negligible. Although I am already one of the really quality from everywhere trying to get the best out, but the rates are just a wahnsinn.
Who of you has a vtr? And how?
It is your opinion at all makes sense now even - in the early ages all hdv - buy a new vtr to dv? or is it better to wear out my drive dv actually still very new vx 2100, vtr not buy that and save the money towards a new hdv cam for years later in 3 / 4? think that if time has prevailed once hdv, dv will be replaced quickly in matters quali ....

I think that SonyDir has given the right information.

Tape drives operating principle is subject to wear and should be of the time waiting to time. Whether you now have a separate DV recorder uses wait (and leaves), or your camcorder, the bottom line remains much the same.
In addition, the stressful part of a tape drive is the constant starting, stopping and maneuvering is a videotape. The continuous play is far less critical. To view your camcorder, the greatest wear in any case be subject to the recording. ;-)

of a professional? Yes, from a pro: Adjust clean drive, exchange Verscheißteile. What is needed is the latest, when you find out when capturing a short audio dropouts (dropouts). ;-)
