Hi everyone,
After I read along here for some years only do I have to ask here, but something. I have to create before, in the near future a Canon EOS 550D. However, since I made the right hand to film stupid think I first looked for Steadycam and have come to the conclusion to combine a Glidecam HD-2000 with the camera.
But because the auto focus in the 550D is pretty lousy, yes, I stand with a floating indeed a problem, I can not adjust the focus without a motorized auto focus (and for a motor-car focus my budget is definitely too short). This raises the question: Should we prefer to buy instead of a Shoulder Mount Glidecam?
I did a little research on the Internet, have found but unfortunately for me not eligible Shoulder Mounts - either too expensive or too rickety. My budget is maximum 600 ¬. Synonymous but may be less happy. Can you help me?

apparently you have the basic principle of the Glidecam even understand - but perhaps not yet as completely synonymous ... ;)
If you pack your camera on the Glidecam, it makes sense to work almost exclusively in the wide-angle and fixed focus. Then it should get there with a corresponding synonymous Aperture very well.
Lens focus on the twist you can forget .. synonymous zoom ends in wobbling if you can not use wireless focus / radio bezel.
could help an autofocus - but synonymous can quickly and is located next to the VDSLRS still not the kick ... .
If you want to have more control options, in my opinion would therefore rather a Schulterszütze in question ... verbidnung in with a follow focus ... The price is synonymous but quite narrow.
The Effect of a gentle ride like with a stabilized camera system will not reach you with it - but you have to use in any case, more control and can synonymous different focal lengths - which as I said on the Glidecam makes less sense.

The only people who can help you with the price, are probably Jag35 Hangrip or (in Europe the better choice, perhaps), otherwise the rather less financially feasible.
Or build itself - does not look like chick, not so mudular, but possibly come away with 40 ¬.
