Hi Com!
I have now been about 2 years, XH A1 and the Cam use primarily for sports. I work very often with the preset-3db of trunk.
Now for the problem / question:
I wanted to create some nice ultra slow motion shots of the post production. In the recording itself, I have found the shutter to 1 / 250 in order to offer sharp picture for the post to get. Unfortunately, it has me in almost every frame I call it a "ghost" or "shadow" with collected at Picture. How can such a position to get something? If I remember correctly you take up with the XH usually 1 / 50 for 50i and in sports. 1 / 100.
To accommodate the situation ... it was the snowboarders with about 30 km / h and more are jumping on a car. On almost every frame were 1 - 3 "ghosts" something added.
I present to avoid the question just about the next time the error and be able to further my education.

My guess is that the codec has problems. It is 25 Mbps with MPEG2 (HDV). I could already imagine why such effects. Or is it dirty deinterlacing.

January I guess it just as I wrote above. The assumption I have due to the way of MPEG2.
If, as in the linked topic, the noise reduction that would be almost a bug in the firmware or the hardware is not after it (to slow).

In the first moment for me was confusing because I have s.Vortag reviewed the recording again and have set the preset at least for the NR1-3db the preset to "0". Check Now when I noticed that I only had to change the preset cam installed but not the preset that was still on the memory card. And how it must be synonymous, I've used the preset of the map where NR1 was still set to "L". Thus, the effect explained logically.
And once again gave me the Slashcam Community (vsBernd E.) helpful, especially since I had already synonymous fear that the XH A1 may be defective. But thanks ..... synonymous s.die other You never know where the dog could be buried.
