Hi,
I'm in a camera crane itself to build. They now need the camera, a Sony HVR-Z5 (~ 2.4 kg) to fix.
To make the install as easy as possible, I would like to block a tripod, so I push on it later, it has only the camera with a removable hard drive. The only requirement s.den head is that the removable disk will not budge.
If the camera hangs upside down to film some down, they are not dropped should be ;-)
The maximum price should be around 50 ¬. Unfortunately, I have found there is not really what.
My favorite for now is this:
Manfrotto 486 tripod head ~ 30 ¬

Z5 for the 486 is borderline, an attempt was made synonymous with it (Canon XHA1), classified as non compliant, what should be more solid for these are small Gewichtsklasse.Optimal Neiger as the Manfrotto 700, then ne-release plate is synonymous for that matter.

if you are already s.Basteln, with such a Neiger You could keep the Cam in Waagrechtstellung synonymous, while the high-low movement .......

Itself already weighs 700 grams and can carry 4 kg. Looks quite stable.

me personally at stake in these ball heads the sudden tilting of the action on the mind, when solving the friction, also you really need another quick change adapter to the type:

So the quick release plate is in PL 32 built in, but the abrupt tilting after loosening the locking screw me was always synonymous with ball heads on my nerves.

How can I fix the Manfrotto MA 700 RC2 head? If the bottom of a thread?
What would be the major alternative next to the head? The removable storage holder looks to me almost too poorly made ..
