I am with two friends of the end of January 2011 to mid February 2011, a short film / documentary film-live action? Turn on the snowboarding in Switzerland.
Having never in the snow (deep snow / powder / piste) rotated, I'm of course a few general questions.
Those who have completed a similar project successfully and can give me some useful advice.

Some friends and I have a few years back for fun a snowboard film rotated. We just made with the camera + tripod in the car next to us and made no great thoughts.
The result was (to our eyes then) amazingly well. In hindsight I would have a larger solar panel and take ND filter.
At low temperature should somehow the battery (and possibly even the tripod head) to keep warm.
The biggest problem was that lust None had with the backpack drive.

IR filter, heating pads (and such with articulated plates), rain cover or waterproof Kamara Bags and bags, neoprene (; at least) socks for Heads, Cams conditioning the (; s.die so cold / heat used), Mini WalkiTalkies, Mat Buckets or (; on this site is tinkering together his stuff), ISO tea pots, Maki, neon colors Makierung to others even at a distance to find equipment (for soups or drinks) (; for which it is not knocked down)
Many settings to film, discuss exactly, spot at different times of the day "siege" on it does not respect the guys are cocky.

Although I have experience with other clips in the freezing cold, like Norway or Sweden, but since it had more to do real work.
I'm cold-tested, -) Since we have hitherto no s.Board Assisting with, and which is due to the immense costs in Switzerland probably not synonymous result, we have probably come in threes clear.
Is there a kind of chief of course. the one usually has to instruct about shooting or to ask for permission must be?

A major problem is likely to be the light. Blue hour daylight and nice and good but a couple of shots at night we would have been happy.

Filmed with a 7D, GH1, Panasonic Full HD camcorder (model unknown at present); Contour HD, Go Pro HD, SonyMW EX1R.
These various zoom lenses, FB, Tele etc.pp we Tripods Sachtler DV 4 II or synonymous Manfrotto 501 HDV, 503 HDV for Choice.
Which of the two is better with the cold? Above all, what makes his service synonymous video head at lower temperatures?

well, we had such a short film made in the march in the fun park in Unterammergau.

we found here that the operator of the fun park (which we had asked in advance to permit) were very, very kooeprativ.
have us with her snowmobile up the runway and shut down, have cordoned off the piste parts for us, etc. pp.
was super nice! Now of course I do not know where to turn as you want!
But wars always cool!
I'd just sit down in the run-in with that connection, define a time window and briefly explain that what you want to do where.
a "making available" of the final result is synonymous well :-)

So we will shoot in Switzerland, Lenzerheide-Valbella. The film will most likely be a high-gloss film.
Design starts next week.
With this kind of aircraft with recording but is still more to it than you have just shown me? Or?
We will s.sofort cast talented snowboarders and locals. We naturally want what the guys have it.
Amateurs are not provided for our video. But the costs are too high.

yes, there would have been possible, but we had only a part of this morning and a few "less talented" snowboarder at ..
who spoke, although they are "head and collar" why the jumps and the whole gruscht did not work, but oh well ..
I'm pretty sure that a few air shots here would surely come great ..
and the area is not far off of us :-)

Old centrifugal heads should be well in the cold, but I have never in my hand. I do know to stop only NEN piece neoprene socks or the head ... that estimates from snow and sand.
Light would drausen I tend to flashlights or work lights including reflectors. (If you have s.Start no large battery packs or generators)
