Hi,
I have the following steps:
During a concert, I want via beamer / make the following screens:
- While playing the bands: Visualisations (Winamp or Windows Media Player) and 2-3 live cameras, which I can switch between
- In the pauses: Slideshow with sponsor logos as well as short commercials
I'd like to regulate everything from the laptop of what I need is a way (software) handle both live DV signal (s) as synonymous saved MPEGs and slide shows of me and to an external monitor (= RGB output for projectors) mix and can be switched.
Anyone who knows a little bit from here? What software or option would be appropriate here?
It would be important just that I have on my laptop and prepare the things that (the external monitor = projector) only the content and not my Windows Media Player or surface.

So you were looking for basically a kind of video jockey software ...
Think this way: do you match the input signals, clips, images, transitions, etc. And by playing to each key on the keyboard you send them s.den video output. VJ Such software is available of lukewarm to very expensive. Links to the lukewarm I posted here several times in the past, I am now looking for Strack ;-)
You sit on it and another: Not so simple are the points "ala Winamp visualization" and "2-3 DV cameras" and the "live switching".
If the VJ program has no visualization module, or you really want to Winamp: The Winamp visualization would run outside of the VJ program and through the monitor-OUT. The VJ software running on the video - Out. By doing this you would have a chance to switch, manual between the two sources - when played along with that of the projector. Some Beamer react neurotically to such Umschaltereien between inputs. In the simplest case, you need with just one insertion of the name of the activated input expected from a beamer. The catch is that you in Winamp mode, the calculator can serve no more, because otherwise comes the desktop or the program operated on the beamer.
The supply of the same IR signals into a 2-3 Calculator is hot commodity. Sowas I have not seen before. Treasures that requires a DV mixer prior to the Calculator. Alternatively, you need special hardware in the calculator. Inform yourself time in the direction and Newtek Video Toaster.
S.Liveswitching The difficulty is that the projector must never lose the sync signals in the video signal. If that happens, and that happens when uncontrolled switching between cameras, then something like a blue surface, or a search signal "or a beamer logo comes ...

schonmal thanks for the detailed answer.
I bräucte almost a VJ software for which there's an ART visualization plugin (or I recorde a few sequences earlier than AVI / MPG, OK, thats the thing can eat) and what a live DV input show. When I hang s.Calculator my camcorder via Firewire, so synonymous ists have no problem with a live picture. Would need only a software that can integrate this. In emergencies it may ichs synonymous, I believe down to a MiniDV cam, then I have to stop is changed while the other video signal (eg, visualization) the picture online manual, zooming, etc., at a static camera to compensate.
Any software that can be something?
