Hello!
I got recently of the Canon HV20 purchased. The HDV data that the camera produces are properly and MPEG2 artifact-free.
The video I capture with HDVSplit, which works correctly.
Then I edit the files with the Media Studio Pro 8.0 of Ulead, previously the TS files to convert PS files, but video data s.den nothing changed.
After the cut to create videos with the presentation of Ulead, but the quality is lousy!
Even after the increase of the encoding quality to maximum is the result in any way with the raw material comparable.
Only after a ver-3-simplification of the bit rate to get a result that with the output quality is comparable, but still MPEG artifacts aufweist.
Is there perhaps a solution, a video without much quality loss to get, for example through the issue in a different format and then encode with a codec that is in favor of the quality takes a little more time, or so?
Please help for my quality problem!

So, if the above was something incomprehensible:
I'm looking for
1) a good Encoder for HDV MPEG data.
2) a possibility that the media with Studio 8 to use.
If not possible, a good intermediate format.

What kind of mpeg artifacts is it? At what data rate you encoded?
Sure you can use synonymous external encoder - but which today, as well and cheap, one would have to see. Perhaps even TMPGEnc (I have not tested). If you buy some things such as the Procoder 3, can be equal to the money some other editing software to buy, the problem does not have.
Intermediate formats - is synonymous more of a problem. Good are the Intermediate codecs, such as the synonymous of Cineform or Canopus HQ - but they are synonymous so expensive that one is loose on another program can change. Maybe you could have the MJPEG codec avi use of Pegasus, which is $ 30 with still affordable.
It would therefore be useful already, once again to question what it is because of artifacts (at any hardware problems excluded). And yes because the MSP is no longer being developed next, I would mentally s.deiner same place synonymous with other editing programs addressing (Vegas, Edius, Adobe, for examples).
