Hello,
early September, I have a small project in which it comes to interviewing children to take and play basketball and all (the pack makes sense in a Short film, about the 'What gehts me here now but not at all;))
But rather like:
I Get a DCR HC 40e made of Sonyzur available. My experience showed me that this measly internal microphones are not used and they themselves (in interviews, so little noise) without subsequent post-frequency voices are not heard very clearly.
So I thought (now s.The use an external mic, really s.ner rod, held of a microphone holder;))
I will, however, the Micro can not tuck into the camcorder / want but would like the external address.
Serves as a preamp me a small 4-channel mixer. That will go in into any laptop and will be here (include the soundtrack, well, is a bit cumbersome in moving scenes, there has probably one with such a car, where is all this behind me run on it, or you may fall a better variant?)
Now my question:
When I followed with the soundtrack to merge the video, then there will be problems when you synchronize?

What kind of advantage do you hope to separate the external recording? If at all possible, then go with the mic in the cam and take as both together on.

I expect no advantage from this, it recorded only external I do not think that has an XLR input of the camcorder, but at most mini-jack.
That is even not be so ideal.
And then I think that the microphone amplifier (should, of all be adjustable) it will not be the real-camera.
