The technical data for the first time sound pretty interesting. As always, the copywriter conceal some points, you should know.
Chip size is 1 / 2, 3 inches (whom it lasts)
even the great Cam DSC-HX100V has no filter thread

Moving Image Size (AVCHD 1920 x 1080 (50i interlace) about 24 Mbps (average bitrate)) YES
Moving Image Size (AVCHD 1920 x 1080 (50i interlace), about 17 Mbps (average bitrate)) YES
Moving Image Size (AVCHD 1440 x 1080 (50i interlace), about 9 Mbps (average bitrate)) YES So, not a Full HD 1080 / 50p video in AVCHD ...

So, not a Full HD 1080 / 50p video in AVCHD ... Which is to have the camera though. Is next above.
Synonymous surprised me that it is not among the listed video modes.

Man Sony,
16 million small dots on a diagonal 8 mm wide sensor?
Panasonic makes even the same crap at the 2011er entry-level compacts.
Eventually, it must still synonymous noticed the dumbest companies have time .....

Na. We are talking about a super zoom camera with video functions. But the data are quite good. A small chip is not a decoration, but quite synonymous in the 1000, - EUR represented camcorder class. DOF, of course, nil.
A mic input would have been nice.
