If your calculator has a FireWire interface (; in the Sony-language "i.Link, IEEE1394 technically correct), then you simply close the camcorder with a FireWire cable matching.
Then a program like Microsoft Movie Maker (; defaults to WinXP machines), Scenalyzer (; www.scenalyzer.com) or WinDV start and transfer the film.
