What is the problem? Connection via USB.

Where in Vegas do you expect for that Vegas show the Camera?
Marco
Antwort von Carlos:
It is about the `import 'or` new film project of `open Filmdatein of the hard drive of the camera.
Vegas reports Error: Data not known.
Antwort von Marco:
Describe times but please just your approach with the names of menus and windows that you used.

Antwort von wolfgang:
So basically you should use the clips of the SR11 camcorder to the plate on the plate of the PC copy - is on the usb port driver. And then you should of the PC plate clips to pull it in Vegas, such as the Explorer.
The SR11 should be in material Vegas Pro 8 and Vegas Movie Studio 9 Platinum quite open.
Antwort von Carlos:
Tried directly of the Camera as synonymous of the hard drive to load
The methods I tried:
1 video recording
Then appeared in the blue window of the tab "recording" of the text: device unavailable "
2 file import
Error message: "When you open one or more files, an error occurred. Nichzt application key is permitted"
3 File Open
Error message: File weißt an unsupported format. (It is a .... Mpg format)
.. but in the old files. avi format are accepted. These were but with a JVC DV camera recorded?!
Antwort von Marco:
Method 1 can not work, because with such a camera is not capturing any more, but this is the dialogue "video recording" thought.
Instead it has one of the menus available there and the import dialog to try to check something on the Vegas Explorer. Navigate to appropriate folder on the drive of the camera and try the files on the timeline to draw.
If this does not work, although I have a suspicion what it might vary, but first should be osversucht.
From - which have a file extension for video files that you are trying to import?
Marco
Antwort von Carlos:
That unfortunately does not synonymous:
The following error message:
The file "G: MP_ROOT101PNV01M2U00004.MPG" could not be opened.
Antwort von Marco:
Then please check the following times:
Open a new Vegas project, insert a blank video track s.and open the menu "File / Render as".
Appears in this menu as a possible rendering file "MainConcept MPEG-2" on?
Marco
Antwort von Carlos:
Hi Marco,
Unfortunately not.
As a file entitled "without Namen.avi"
and as the file type "*. avi"
PS Thank you, first, that you with me s.dem puzzle problem :-)
Antwort von Marco:
But any other format must be included in the list of format (in the drop-down menu) but up, right? If the list of MPEG-2 is missing, then try the following:
- In the folder "Programs / Sony" folder "Shared Plugins" delete.
- Then in the folder "Programs / Sony Setup / Vegas Pro 8.0" File "Vegas_80enu.msi" or "Vegas_80deu.msi" (depending on the language version) are looking for.
- The above file and double click to start the repair process.
If that does not help, all versions of Vegas and DVD Architect first uninstall any corresponding registry entries, then the needed programs to reinstall.
Marco
Addendum:
Another Vegas-user with a similar problem could just solve as follows:
- Uninstall Vegas.
- Vegas reinstall, but deliberately not using the path C: / Programs / .. but under C: / Program Files / ..
