I have two questions about the Sony Digital 8 - camcorders:
1) What does the "E" s.Ende types of names (eg, TRV 270 E)?
2) Where can I find product to no longer quite so current camcorders, such as the compatibility to analog 8-recorded video tapes? Sony provides these descriptions clearly only for the latest products!

The e often has little meaning. Devices with and without the sometimes differ in small details.
Video 8 is a standard on all devices that play back Video 8 can be met. Notes on compatibility can be omitted. Were it not synonymous VHS yes.

Notes on compatibility can be omitted. Why? The question relates to the compatibility of Digital8 camcorders, of which not all the analog Video8 or Hi8 tapes play it.
