I got the idea goes duch the head, in particular Sitiuationen (for speaker before an audience - audience to be filmed)) to put a camera on stage and this complete control from a distance (behind the stage).
A cameraman was on the stage would be annoying, but not alone in the corner of a camera on a tripod.

At current SonyCams the Lanc is hidden in the AV Remote - remote controls, it is appropriate cable at the Sony store - but you'd have to extend the cable you have - but the advantage that you can simultaneously operate a synonymous Kontrollmonitoer it.
