Hello
I have just bought needed a 403 NTSC, you have only an English menu without conversion possibility, and probably takes only Ntsc switch on without the possibility.
If the camera is limited to use and what handycaps still be considered?
Can you update the firmware?
Have unfortunately not yet a Charger and the Battery is empty, so I can try yet.

A firmware update might not be enough, for NTSC models provide a lower Resolutionals PAL devices. IdR they differ synonymous in the image intensifier, that is synonymous hardware should be replaced. It is not worth it.
Restrictions are: NTSC pictures look due to the lower than Resolutionunschärfer PAL recordings. Many DVD players can deal with NTSC DVDs, but not all. The same applies to the Television. A standards conversion to PAL is time consuming and eating quality.
An adaptation of the recordings s.Computer is on DVD camcorders anyway not announced or just something for masochists. ;-) If it were a DV camcorder, it would not be expected in post-processing with restrictions.
BTW: How do you get s.einen used NTSC camcorder? In this country, which is almost always a bad buy ...

easy to get soon a thing randomly on Ebay. I think the picture quality is not synonymous so intoxicating. It is not significantly better than my PC110 with 1Megapix.
The reproduction of the s.TV NTSCvideos or PC has so far caused no problems.
But due to the low post options, I wanted to get rid synonymous.

soon ... very easy to get things randomly on Ebay. So I never get "randomly" on eBay, but only if I wanted to. ;-)
