Frage von Ulli:

Hello,
I buy my plane as a second camera, the SonyHC90 or the JVC GR-DX307. In some reports said that the SonyCam has not really convincing image quality, especially not in lowlight. Can maybe someone tell me what it looks like the JVC?
I would like to join a helmet camera (http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/helmet_cameras.htm#BulletCameraPackage) s.The cameras. Can anyone tell me yet whether the Sonyoder the JVC has the right connection because I do not know exactly what the helmet camera has.

Moreover, perhaps someone has experience with the cams and can me his Favourit for skiing / snowboarding, vacations, mountain bike tours and the shooting with his colleagues propose? "Maybe some other synonymous Cam ...

Hi Mark,
Thanks for your reply.
I have found in the product description only one video input / output, and in addition to USB 2.0 and FireWire yet found an S-video connection.
Can the video input port used as synonymous for a finger-camera?
With S-video connection would have to go there but synonymous, right?
How does this type of video input?

Antwort von Markus:

Hi Ulli,

The blue jack (A / V) is the port for composite video and stereo audio. Usually, at (Sony?) Camcorders, a four-pin jack to be found, for accompanied by an adapter cable to RCA. The Y / C jack somewhere else s.Gerät must be found.

The Helmcam should (depending on the output signal) AV and Y / C s.den can connect input.

Sometimes there are such connections s.der base station, if the camcorder has such a thing. -> Manual?

With the A / V port, it should work but with the helmet camera, right?

Antwort von Markus:

The HC90 has apparently due to the miniaturization no jack for the AV signal, but a special, multi-occupied port (-> A / V). With the supplied cable (Composite, yellow RCA plug) to connect a Helmcam is possible if the latter have a PAL-compliant outputs composite video signal.
