Frage von heinavesi:Hello:
Have a SonyDSR-PDX10P - s.sich a very good device in its class, especially in 16:9 format. Only one thing bothers me constantly:
When Rotate the camera s.laufenden tape time code produces small jumps. This is particularly troublesome during capture in the PC.
Has anyone a clue, what the reason for this TC is jumping?
If the PDX-10P-typical?
Or you can change anything there in the menu?
Or did the unit 'ne Macke?
Thanks in advance schon mal!

Hello Heinavesi,
my PDX10 does not do that, that is, typically, it is in any case.
I am assuming that you take out the tape either from the action, nor coil it around, because that would explain the jump ....
.... but try to run once a time before the next REC Start the End Search function of the camera. The long runs so you do not take tape out of the action (; synonymous with no memory chip Tapes) without problems and should follow closely s.letzten frame of the previous recording.
If that goes, then it is possibly the camera drive has worn out a bit and the Cam are doing with the "frame-accurate thread" of the tape difficult ...

Thank you!
But I think times, the fault lies elsewhere. The time code jumps so synonymous in the middle of a recording, not just between the two takes. There are only 1 to 2 frames.
The camera is fairly "new". Does not have any 50 hours on the clock.
