Hello,
I have a Digi8 of Sony (TRV-210E). On insertion of the cartridge to the drive shaft, after a short time comes the error code C: 31:10 and the cartridge is ejected.
Both Batteries already been removed, not used. Has anyone even a hint?

for all 3 formats is the same error message.

Got the same error code C: 31:10 and C: 32:10
For me the cassette shaft Aretiert not.

The error code C: 31 .. and C: 32 .. be given to errors that can fix the user typically itself.
Unofficially mean:
C 31 10 LOAD direction. Loading does not complete within specified time Load the tape again, and perform operations from the beginning. http://www.digital-world.info/viewtopic/p-7080.html

- Try Again. Videotape and reinstate
- Power take off (> 60s), re-connect and then insert cassette
If you both have not helped, then it would be for me a case for the service ...
