Frage von Dracogfx:Hey guys,
I have recently made recordings for a Short Film. To this end I used a SonyEX3, with two attached microphones: one for the atmosphere, and a boom for the spoken text. The sound of both microphones during the recording was clearly heard over headphones.
The recorded files I then pulled on my PC (Win7), and imported into Premiere Pro CS5. Neither in Premiere, nor in any player (VLC, Nero Showtime, WMP) of the "fishing" sound was on, only the sound of the atmosphere microphones can be heard.
From a friend who has operated the camera during the recording I got the info, he would have recorded four tracks, 2 Angel 2 atmosphere. In Premiere it shows me only two on, namely L and R for the atmosphere-Microphone.
Since the sound was heard over headphones, so he must be on top of the recording. How can I find the missing tracks?
best regards

The EX3 can record only two tracks (L / R). If the sound of the Angel is not in the MP4 file as left or right channel, it was not recorded.

I work with Apple Final Cut Pro,
the soundtrack of my editing system are recognized as two stereo channels, synonymous if they are mono.
First, the metadata about XDCAM Transfer into a QT containers are "rewritten" (PC -> avi).
Thus the question: How did you recorded your footage on CS5, you alter native or synonymous via XDCAM Transfer?
Probably because the dog is buried!
What you hear when you know the original MP4 file directly to test the VLC player?
Antwort von rush:
Ui ... So hopefully there is not really gone a little wrong, because according mM, the EX3 as already mentioned - only 2 audio tracks ...
May well be that the audio tracks are displayed in some editing programs respectively as stereo, but purely recording technology you have in principle only the left and right channel ... with a typically atmosphere is and the other is vrbunden with fishing rod or mixer output.
Antwort von TiMovie:
Yes, of course, there are s.der EX1 / 3, only two mono channels L / R
