Hello,
have the trial version downloaded.
In the preferences I have HDV 1080i (Sony50i) is set.
Then, I record a new project is created. Now I have in the left taskbar HDV camcorder camera clicked. Now we should help in Picture Click for Picture.
The window is not active. Above the preview pane are: Camera offline.
The camcorder is connected via Firewire and can control such as:
rewind stop play, etc.
What am I doing wrong?

Premiere trial versions do not support HDV, but only the full versions.

I capture with HDV split and cut with Edius 4th

How about with Magix VDL 2007/2008? The software supports high-definition. Can Blue Rays write and has 99 tracks (for DV).

In the Cam change the setting: ilink converter to OFF. Then you can record synonymous.
