I have a question though and I would like my SonyFx 1000 s.meinen via Firewire cable to connect Mac with Firewire 800 port.
Yes, unfortunately fits the old Firewire 400 not s.den new Mac connection.
I found some adapter that I was stupid but since then s.Mac so nen thingy is.
Are there any cables of the Fx 1000 Mac with Firewire 800?
I'm still wuschig.

What you need is a Firewire cable with a four-pin Male on one and a nine-pin on the other page. Googel times for 'firewire cable 4-pin 9-pin "and you'll find such cables can carry more than you.

Of the Jott recommended cable will not work - you need 4 to 9 PIN.
