Hello Forum,
I have a problem.
I would like in the semi - enter the professional field and have searched me out here, the two Sony's.
My problem I would like XLR audio connectors. On the other hand, I have had bad experiences with made digital data loss and would therefore prefer to rely on the good old tape.
Can someone help me next? Are the cameras score out of the format and the audio connections in other?
Another issue that would interest me. How long will the standard battery (; SonyF570, 2200 mAh).

there is apparently a small flaw crept in ... synonymous DV / HDV recording is already in digital form - is only partially at the new store formats, the sound a bit more compressed. Since you have to see how this is handled individually by the various manufacturers.
So we had DV in general quasi uncompressed PCM recording and even with HDV, the sound was then recorded MPEG-encoded.
When the AX2000 is as far as I know AC3 .... the big sister NX5 you can re-elect the other hand, uncompressed PCM.
his thought but hardly the sound of the AX2000 noticeably worse than the FX1000 is ... But can not specifically say.

Moin am, himself the owner of the FX1000, great camera, but it is no XLR connections. For this reason, I was always there for me to decide today the AX2000! Otherwise, there are no great differences between the two cameras, only missing the AX2000 the Shot Transition.
Never mind the small battery, two NP-F970 are actually required, they each hold so about 3 hours, turning loose.

I am facing the same problem as the thread creator.
Therefore, I would like to put even the Canon XH A1S with the election.

The Canon XH A1S offers XLR connections and multiple setting rings for focus and zoom.
What do the owners of these cameras? Priced so they play in the same league.

I throw synonymous times the JVC HM100 into the race. In combination with Final Cut simply brilliant. Cost recording to SDHC cards and super workflow with Final Cut Pro.
