Frage von andusemge:Hello,
Have a SonyHDR-CX11E AVCHD files and want to watch on my MacBookPro. Possession Apple Final Cut Express 4.0 and QT 7.5.5
So far I have not succeeded, the files on the Mac, or even play in iMovie (7.1.4) or Final Cut Express (4.09 to imporieren.
've Foolishly on a journey with the original Sony software Windows data of the Memory Stick imporiert and this is probably the data directory structure changed and various subfolder, still on the stick to see, have become less.
The HD video data are now available as a 'm2ts' and' Modde 'files before. I understand that this is probably to H.264 mp4, which my quicktime is actually synonymous to play, but this does not happen.
I wonder how I use these files into Final Cut can import?
Also Final Cut Express recognizes the camera via the USB port obbligato. Is a 4.1 update necessary? (was here on the land only modem internet ;-)
Thanks for all hints

Hi,
Final Cut is my knowledge only s.Version 6.0.2 compatible with AVCHD. How it looks at Express I do not know, but rather think not.
Otherwise gugeln times, there is unfortunately not free bulky Converter, giving you the m2ts files in all kinds of popular formats.
To play using the VLC player, which would have folded. About quicktime unfortunately not to my knowledge ...

Apple is still
no dominant
native AVC format. It can provide a file structure of the card read, transcodiert each of the selected clip, but then in the AIC (Intermediate Codec) into FCE or the ProRes422 in Final Cut Pro.
It is not really explain why he is the camera on the USB input is not detected. Normally this requires no additional action.
It looks however Stills and the corresponding metadata. Did you like this folder so it will be difficult, with the remaining data still s.FCE anzudocken.
If you like the Camera s.Input forward, should you not synonymous difficulty longer have to import the files and visible.
However, you need to get more space than on the map.

Thanks for the hints!
Final Cut Express 4.01 actually imported the data from the camera memory chip without any problems and the best quality, it seems to me. The connection via USB directly with the camera does not, but this is less dramatic.
However, it is still difficult to assess the data sensibly m2ts on the Mac is available. Have a few Converter tested the m2ts AVCHD-in mac-readable format. However, the quality is often insufficient. Has someone a tip, which s.besten Converter, and Wechs format (mov) s.geeignesten is to send the data later in Final Cut Express, etc. single?
A.
