Simply and generally stated: Now, if you need a camera, then get them to you wait, if you can wait, then, whether what will happen better - not always a newer camcorder is synonymous of the better ones.
... ... Successor should be synonymous tape no longer have. Perhaps XDCAM? ... More likely, the NXCAM system, the first camcorder prototype was recently introduced. The XDCAM products are a different caliber in a higher price range (s.ca. 6000 euros for the EX1R).
