Can I possibly someone from the forum to say whether the SonyHDR-FX1000 with the Manfrotto 523 LANC Remote Control PRO work?
And if I was purchasing a 501HDV/525PKIT Manfrotto (Tripod) another adapter for the FX1000 needed or whether the camcorder is immediately directed to the Tripod fits?

s.Deiner I would point to the head 503 closer look bezw. compare with the 501st the 503 has a built in balance spring, the camera angle in the fixed stops. After reading the prospectus.
So the 1000 Fx needs a camera plate. This is a plate between the Camera and the head 501 or 503 (you can Manfrotto synonymous in -
See prospectus). When I had bought 503 head was the head plate when car is.
Another comment on the Tripod 525: if it is a predominantly mobile use should be, should you times the weight of carbon with comparable performance. I z, B. a used Gitzo Carbon GT2540L (very primitive, but only 1500 g!) auction for 400 ¬ and the smallest Manfrotto 701 HDV Fluid Head employ. The Gesatgewicht is now 2300 instead of 3500 g and upwards. I must pack everything in for hours wear.

I control the "sister" model HVR-Z5E with the Manfotto 523 Pro remote control (by the way, on a Manfrotto 503HDV Video Kit, 525PKIT) and it works flawlessly.
