Canon has only 1 years warranty on pure Camcorders & cameras in Germany, where the coming 2 years ago (or Jamba Pros warranty extended warranty)?

What is the application?
If you have a lot of time and did not quickly want to spontaneously drauflos film, the Canon is certainly good. The Canon has a lot of knobs and switches, which I personally, however, partly never need (Example: Farbbalkengenerator).
I apologize for the Sonyentschieden because the automatic transmission works well and the camera is much lighter than the Canon. After 2 weeks, I have to Antarctica for the Sony decision not regretted it and am sure that it is for me the camera is better.
But what your priorities are, which you need to know.

Most of the time I have worked with the automatic. For large areas of snow you have to stop the exposure nachkorrigieren.
That was but the dial is very simple.
The histogram makes it easier for faded addition, the exposure very well be.

I also voted for the sony FX7 enstchieden, because it's the more mature product appears to be. in recent times produced canon after my taste too many quick shots, and the quality problems we read not only here. am otherwise not a real sony fan.
well, specifically because sony FX7:
1.) ready to work cam, I can concentrate on the essentials.
2) image-the two are in no way, sometimes because there vorteile times.
3) the sony is much easier than canon (like with any subsequent modellheli & co experiment 30% less weight is enormous, I think)
4) the smaller design simplifies my work very much.

6.) halfway usable display, as opposed to canonfutzi
5) HDMI Output!
6.) Sonydenkt next and pushes HD recorder HVR-DR = 60 to a product many of the same advantages such as batteries etc.
7.) sony is just what the benefit of the drives (eg synonymous DAT) is concerned, relatively dropoutsicher relatively reliable according to my humble experience. Diserens point me in terms of HDV is very important, because a lot of dropout would be felt more forcefully than dv.
I'm very satisfied so far, and yet s.experimentieren themselves.
the settings of sony are often better than my own getüftel. well, probably s.experimentieren None passed.
had finally picture profile "portrait" is loaded and a little "nachjustiert" the purest is worthless escaped ;-).

stativ what did you use? A Gitzo 1228 with a Manfrotto 701RC2.

(or to me the only way)? Because this video from one source without s.Suche simple eye with autofocus was made. Since it was just a question about the penguin on Picture to get at least what has worked.
And the Penguins should regularly the minimum distance for a sharp picture under way.
