Hi,
'm an absolute beginner and I was not yet so friends, give me a camcorder to buy. reasons: no bands + hdtv.
the new sony hdr sr1, but I like very, very good. + disk-HD resolution is exactly what I always wanted to have.
I would initially uncompressed movies of internal to external platte ne on play and then on my pc via lcd watch (it is connected and runs great). s.and mal ne dvd to burn (ie runterkonvertieren) and then later the entire content on hd-dvd or blu-ray burn.
Now comes the whole natürliuch cut problem. I do not want art, but just a bit cut, a few "Title Slide" and maybe 1-2 music channels (which formerly had with pinnacle 9 times and made apart of the crash was quite ok).
what do I need this? NEN new pc? special editing software or the accompanying langt? my pc is an athlon xp 2600 / 1 gb ram / ati radeon X800XT pe -
Buy? wait? what to buy? how's your advice?

Adobe will soon yes AVCHD support, look what it is.
The included software is actually a joke, just a separation is possible. You can do this project supplied by the same SW in MPEG 2 output, at least for me the quality has deteriorated significantly and so is not usable.
Or an AVCHD DVD, where one of the files M2Ts remains only at the moment will not take much to play this you need the AVCHD player (supplied) and The Who else? In a normal DVD player can you have this kind of DVD synonymous not play.
So we must still wait until a little known company AVCHD editing support.
The HD movies directly to DV quality issue at the moment would be the better choice, but have not yet had time to assess the material to be able to trunk since I think has more experience.
On television, the latest technology but Picture & components via HDMI cables very promising, it is sometimes
a beginning.
But AVCHD needs a top calculator, even a 2 Ghz has problems on the material smooth display, which are usually not Ruckler by recording but because of the weakness of the heart to see the PC.

RUSSELS, I must say that the AVCHD files, I was positively surprised. I took the view that the images are poor because of the higher compression, but the look really good!
High hardware requirements are somehow logical.

but why must everything yet so complex with the cut, so my money would be relatively no preference, but it should be easy to ... ;-) is somehow cut video and still worlds away of the user-friendliness, which is now at digifotos, itunes, etc are ... 'm anxious times, when the times change ... in times of youtube and web 2.0 etc ...

Currently, the Testdatein of Wolfgang not even play particularly well, on my current 3.2 Ghz P4 does it with the new Windows Media Player 11 - but only faulty.

No this is even worse, SR 1 Herrausforderer Panasonic HDC SD 1 can only record 1080i AVCHD, but can be analog signals to RCA / component output. PAL 720x576 makes the SR 1 but in MPEG-2 conversion in the menu - the quality should be run accordingly. I was with the pure Direktkonvertieren to MPEG 2 with the included SW of the SR 1 very disappointed.
I am curious if I have the SD 1, initial reports have shown - there is nothing in terms of cut with the included software .....
