Frage von fmh007:Hello!
I want my AVCHD clips with the "Log and Transfer ..." for further processing of my SonyHDR-SR8 in Final Cut Pro ... The preview of each clip in the window works sometimes. At least if I have a clip on but wants to crash the entire program.
There are at Apple following note on the page:
http://www.apple.com/support/releasenotes/de/Final_Cut_Pro_6.0_rn/
Support for Sony HDV camcorders with hard disks
The "Log and Transfer" in Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 offers synonymous support for HDV camcorders with hard drive options, such as the SonyHVR-DR60 camcorder.
Important: For the activation of these functions is a separate plug-in of Sonyerforderlich. Maybe someone knows where I plug & financial? The knowledge of Sony synonymous nothing ...
If this somehow helps - the transfer of clips in iMovie works ... it can only lie s.Final Cut ...
I would be glad of any help ...
Thank you very much!

Jenny

Precisely because the problem is: "AVCHD" and "professionals" - the suits are still not quite together. ;-)
But perhaps even more so to notify someone with a helpful tip ...

Hi,
this question had ic the AppleCare Pro Support synonymous asked, or whether because Final Cut Pro 6.0.2 fully supports AVCHD. The answer was definitely NO, even with the Sony plug-in. It may work partially, but will usually only produce salad, as long as no native AVCHD support is implemented. and this, so Apple can still take.
