Have a SonyHDR XR500VE material here that I must bring into Final Cut Pro.
After connecting the USB cable, the camera is detected immediately and show the clips in Log & Transfer. So far so good.
The material on the camera is AVCHD -> I use the Apple ProRes 422 for capturing. Is that ok or is synonymous for the Choice of Intermediate Codec is better? Is faster "Transfer"?
What do I need to set a Project (Sequence Settings) so that I get NO Render bar to face? Is there a preference, or because you have to build what "?
As far as I understand, the camera delivers 1920x1080i50 material.
Maybe someone can help ..!?

Throw a clip in the timeline. Final Cut Pro asked whether the sequence is to be adjusted. . Confirm Done. Render-cut.
