Hi All,
'm new here and very new to the field of video editing. I have now bought a TV card with S-video input, a SCART adapter with IN / OUT switch, and the appropriate cables to the whole. Have everything connected and synonymous get the sound to the PC but no picture :-(
What is wrong? The cables are all connected correctly, I think, have inspected dozens of times. The switch is made synonymous to OUT, or they would not get the sound so synonymous.

Thanks for the quick answers! We now have something rumprobiert with settings and so s.PC, it is now a picture there, but unfortunately, know only black. What can be more wrong?

Sorry for the "guest" writer in the last post, forgot to log myself, thinking it automatically happen after I link the reply e-mail use o) works in some forums that way.
Again wg the problem we have had, or. Trial and error we now get the picture clear and in color after a little over the yellow chinch-Video Male. The S-Video VCR seems not to support good. But as it is synonymous. Now I can lay off to save the old videos to DVD before they are no longer playable, o)

This will interest you in this context certainly synonymous,
creating the links, in particular relating to archiving on DVD in the post
DVD. If you have a VHS recorder, this is no Y / C signal (hence the picture) is only black and white. The yellow RCA plugs (composite) in this case is the right connection, as you have figured out already. ;-)

I have now tried to include a movie from a VCR. Well, the video was recorded is stored on the PC but unfortunately without sound: o (during the recording was the whole time the sound heard.
Has anyone a hint for me what I must adjust or adapt to hire?
