Is the "pops" heard synonymous to the camera to the problem lies there!
In what format do you work?
DVD-R/RW, Video / VR HQ / SP / LP
Can the media (the DVD) synonymous to play on a regular DVD player?
What kind of settings do you have the audio kbit kHz ... ..?

If no! Type I on your board with sound processor. Filtered is apparently not true. Or did you get your board overclocked and therefore this interference, depending on the strain.
