It is an issue of Premiere, which unfortunately continues synonymous in CS4. Probably has something to do with open GOPs and multiplexed audio. Workaround seems to be no longer capture HDV with Premiere, but as with the free afaik "HDV Split" - and later, of course, import the footage in Premiere. The timecode-break story you guessed was the right instinct, but the record on the tapes with Schwarz does not help at all. You say yourself that the movie plays in VLC synchronously, ie Premiere plays it off wrong. The tapes from the recording format to "made sense to DV-times (for those who like to go-and herspulen). A clever capture tool but does anyway on every TC error a new clip, so even laced tapes of holes are then no longer a problem.
Premiere will be able to hire synonymous ignore the timecode? The timecode keeps everything together. Other software cuts off the loose ends (less than 1 second), and there is never again trouble. hm, I need not necessarily synonymous premiere, I press stories have only the latest addition to cut, snip about "So gehts nicht. no effects .. gibts da hire a suitable, smaller, cheaper software? (WIN 7 - 64 compliant!)
