Hi Folks, I use the longer MC MPEG encoder. Have so synonymous some experiments behind me. What I never managed to have is the encoder's response to changes in the picture faster. Most notable is the thing, if I search for a "Still Image" (not really rate decreases from - Noise?) Make a swing. then I have a fairly blockiges Picture, because the encoder does not seem einpennt and thus expects that the object is now moved at once. As always synonymous, I've read that Media Studio is not designed to be next to me and as a demo Vegas8 loaded. Exports with the MainConcept template is as it should be - the war, I stand with the (1.51) is not out :-( I have already tried the settings of Vegas in the standalone transfer -> with the word X Nutz Vegas not installed in my encoder? Is there a built in Vegas?
PS: It is about the transform of DV material into MPEG2 (DVD)
Antwort von Marco:
Yes, Vegas uses an "own" MainConcept MPEG codec. This is a licensing MainConcept, but there are probably specific adjustments for Vegas, so that the integrated Vegas MainConcept MPEG-2 codec with either the standalone of MainConcept codec is directly comparable, nor are the parameters between Both tools are interchangeable.

Thanks for the info, although that was not what I would like to hear. I would rather it would be "my" encoder used. Has anyone 'nen tip how I can improve response? Media cost is not the world, but that is why with very high bitrate encoding must not be. Both (Standalone and Vegas) were on an average bitrate of 6MBit asked. "In Sleep" Vegas lowered to about 3.7 Mbps, which stand 5.6 MBit held here - they're worlds apart. Which is then swivel mastered Vegas prima (6.9 Mbps), the stand the lead but could not use (7.2 Mbps). I think here, I still have a recruitment problem.
