Hi,
the concept of studio microphone for me really only describes a certain quality of microphones, but says nothing about the design or operation of the field. Thus, synonymous of a small-diaphragm microphone a decent studio microphone (for example Røde NT-5, it sounds just great for orchestral recording in).
So the question is what the microphone will be used? And what speaks against it, delivering a good quality microphone (not yellow ;-) electricity?
