Frage von chapelle:Hello,
I am now the end of the year finished with my community service, and would like the job Cutter / video editor / movie section ... . learn
I've always loved (movies naja so everyone does) and movies and synonymous cut for some time myself.
In the summer of 2006 I had a well-paid order for a DVD production (filming and cut) in the U.S.
Actually, I always wanted to become a director ... but I think I am not sure extroverted enough to manage everything and give instructions to all (ie no führungsperson)
Cut the digital gives me an incredible amount of fun ... (synonymous'm very creative and very talented, believe it)
(what kind of degree and vocational training do you think it would be useful if you want to successfully meet their own projects in the distant future, or wanting to contribute to film s.großen) * dream *

Hi chapelle,
I think your question is not answered as cons.
I will give you some impetus:
How old are you?
IdR have accepted less than 21 candidates are very difficult to become (as I said usually).
Internship:
a 3 / 4 years. This could possibly be too little (I would still dranhängen 1 years).
Which university?
I would think that would be happy if you'll ever accepted somewhere (usually you will have 2 attempts to apply )....
Your study is not an ordinary business administration, such as, for example, where you can enroll you simply s.der university. There are hard-selection criteria and audits ...
A good education will you do in Babelsberg as well as in Ludwigsburg and Munich, etc.. I think Babelsberg quite nice, because the living there is a lot cheaper than, for example, in Munich.
Absolutely blow you around on the sides of the movie College. Here you'll find yourself well informed and able to find many answers to your questions.

Hi All,
I would like to refer once to the last paragraph in the movie College (Link of John): self-study.
A good friend (and also Slashcam'er) is currently completing his education in media design Picture & Sound. Actually, he did not need such training, since he already has the most self-taught. Then he wants to become self-employed with his company.
I myself am a career changer (actually chemist) and produce video films "in passing". And I often work together with other media people. What I find striking: It is usually more, and what you can do, than what you have on paper. I always meet again lateral hires from all sorts of areas. Importance of good contacts here and that one is known for its performance. Thus, a job the next, and results from a small copy job might become a whole production. For this development we need, of course synonymous patience, that does not work in a week.
A very good overview of potential careers and courses you can find synonymous in the current issue (6 / 2005) of the journal

what would be an appropriate education? "mediengestalter image and tone"? learned since the film and cut? probably more difficult ...

Browse the forum s.besten times thereafter. This fact is largely dependent upon training, how your training is designed ().

Hello,
Potsdamm Babelsberg I think is a very good place to learn to cut. The professor Clea Waite there for digital editing, a rounder / video artist, and you can really learn a lot of it.
Good luck

I was more than 2 years in the same situation as you, chapelle.
In the summer I had finished school, in the meantime, a bit odd jobs, and approximately 2-3 years experience with DV editing collected.
In November I had my application documents concern the Munich Film School (www.hff-muc.de) and good cheer, I made myself s.The tasks. My hopes for the admission, however, disappeared more and more. Constantly I was told of a friend: "You're too young!", "The do not take people without extensive work experience." "You can only apply for 3 times and then let's das it was better!". Also, I was in January, then at the open day in Munich s.der HFF. That was all very interesting and impressive, but a little conversation with an employee had more of davonbröckeln my hope: there would be approximately 650 candidates per year, about 40-50 will be invited for personal choice conversation, which ultimately only about 15 People are taken. These figures were for the studies of film and television drama for which I was interested.
I had already gathered almost all tasks of the documents. It was already February 2004 and the required short film was written inside of 2 weeks, rotated, scenes and even nachgedreht but ultimately failed s.meiner destroyed all hope. Actually I figured with no chance any more. My application never landed in my mailbox.
Instead, I lost the idea of "film studies" to be out of sight. In June the same year (2004) I applied for, and nearly 20 universities of applied sciences Aachen to Zwickau for various programs - the main thing it had to do something with media.
Overall, I received about six to seven commitments, and ultimately I decided for the bachelor's degree "online media" s.der University (then University of Applied Sciences) in the deepest Furtwangen Black Forest. The program sounded interesting based on the three pillars of computer science, and economic Gesaltung with additional influences from the media technology.
In October I started my studies there, 300km of friends and family away in a Kuhkaff that seeks its equal.
Long story short: I have now been fairly successful two semesters behind me and I now am in the obligatory internship in a web agency and with the realization of an image film for the company itself responsible. What I noticed is that I basically gave away my dream of studying film far too early for a compromise solution that may ultimately not make me happy. My study is hardly creatively interpreted and represented, contrary to some fellow students or professors can align their course content through elective courses and more towards design or synonymous film is extremely small.
I am now ready to begin my internship, I then completed a bachelor's undergraduate erstmal. I request a vacation semester and will do right in this, "Consider-time" work experience in post-production field or during the shooting.
I think it's never too late to talk to you and let not your talent. An attempt is ALWAYS worth it. There are people who have no school, and yet because of their achievements are recognized and accepted. I've heard of someone who has been admitted, despite 8-times or application, and yet never submitted more material next have to somehow get in. And it worked. Another three years has traveled the world and had no idea of the movie business or technology, but he knew "I want to make movies." And he was taken!
Your will and your motivation are crucial. Use your talent and trust in yourself!
... Bla bla enough now =) beautiful evening, Felix
