Frage von Dusty80:Hi
I'm about to buy a new PC.
The goal is AVCHD Videos with Adobe Premiere
and edit any synonymous Adobe After Effects.
Now I'd like to start a poll
which graphics card it would take.
Wahrscheindlich it's more a question of faith.
But you think I would be very interested.
Choice for the following options:
1x ATI Radeon HD5870 1024MB GDDR5 TV-Out, 2xDVI or following, the same as a double:
2x nVidia GeForce GTX 460, 768MB, GDDR5 TV-Out, 2xDVI Because of the Adobe software, which indeed uses OpenGL,
it plays no role or eiegntlich?
From the power consumption and heat development would
it more likely the ATI.
But I read some good reports synonymous over nVidia.
But the more I read about the cards more difficult
the decision, as both graphics cards seem
very well be.
For your opinions I would be very grateful.
Best regards
Dusty

Moin moin,
as you already say it is primarily a belief or popular question.
You could just as well ask MAC or PC and you will get to hear from both camps each have a different opinion.
Or Final Cut, Avid or Adobe. Supporters and opponents alike are there.
;-)
Everything comes out s.was for components you want to block in addition.
I think more important is the setup of the PC.
You should rather worry about HDD's. These affect the performance significantly. graphics cards tend to play with 3D animation an important role.
Do you want to save your checkbook you should rely on ATI. Why 2 Nvidia?
What do you expect from it?

If you cut in Premiere CS5 + Effects AVCHD quickly want to support only the following cards this:
* GeForce GTX 285 (Windows and Mac OS)
* GeForce GTX 470 (Windows)
* Quadro 4000 (Windows)
* Quadro 5000 (Windows)
* Quadro FX 3800 (Windows)
* Quadro FX 4800 (Windows and Mac OS)
* Quadro FX 5800 (Windows)
* Quadro CX
Currently, therefore, very little consumer cards of Nvidia, and not of AMD / Ati.
For more information, you could do at times slashCAM

And what is keeping thereof?

Would speak for themselves for the NVIDIA 460GTX, but with min. 1GB Ram.
Anyone have experience with it?

I have just found the following offer in which I can not * change anything
and thought that this PC must be a hammer, which might just suit my needs:
* The only thing you can change is the graphics card :-(
[List] power supply: 750W with 14cm FAN, ATX 2.2 ToughPower
Motherboard: Gigabyte EX58A-UD5, Intel X58 Express, DDR3, SATAII, 1394.2 xGLAN, Raid

Bus clock: corresponds 4800-6400 MT / s [/ list: u: 0cbb7bfaf5]
One or two ATI Nvidia cost the same.
Why install two Nvidia, I can not explain synonymous.
The draw will determine a lot of power: - /

Actually, yes komich any hammer but not PC
quite sufficient. And this because only the graphics card.
While surfing I'm still holds to a 1000 ¬
PC pushed lower.
What do you think this could meet the expectations already?
(From the graphics card, under the circumstances, pretty much right?)
