I intend in the near future of the PC-Windows - on Mac Pro and convert the videos in Final Cut Express to edit.
I have the following problem: I still have old HI 8 videos that I necessarily would like to cut and digitizer. Previously this was no problem, because I could use my old Hi 8 camera via S-Video and Audio Cynch (red and white) on my PC and then the recordings into Magix Video Deluxe Download.
What options do I have with Mac Pro, because deratige Connections s.Gerät not exist? Do I need an external solution (eg Cannopus) which I then s.den Mac via Firewire can connect?
I'm thankful for every tip, because the dealer knew nobody to answer the question ... Gunman

Presumably, you were simply not in the right dealer. The Mac Pro works like any other Intel PC and has a FireWire interface. Where is the problem? You have to give away your PC, just because you 'nen Apple buy? Keep the box until you've digitized your videos - you can edit them s.Mac yes, if you feel like it ...

So if you go to the XH-A1 you can transfer your old s.die Camera XH-A1 and connect your Hi8 movies on the Camera and Firewire in capturing Calculator. Where I've been wonderful with old VHS tapes and VCRs nem done exactly the same procedure.
