Hello,
my field is mainly due to weddings and here I go as follows:
- Video Recording with a Canon XH A1, and recording of the O-sound over the Microphone. Additionally, I take the clean sound of the tape on a recorder to Field.
Since the recorder runs continuously, but I with the Cam only record certain scenes, I would like to know whether it is possible to somehow synchronize the video with the Field recorder once performed. Because the cam is indeed the time to code (I think there would be synonymous hidden somewhere in the time stamp), as I said once a goal is to synchronize and the rest based on the time stamp them.
Is something possible? Tools?
For help, I would be grateful, as always.

None an idea or really just go on foot ...?

In principle, it would work if your recorder as Field Master sends a SMPTE time code and generate via cable connection to the XH-A1 as a slave, could play on.
Another solution I can not really imagine.
