Hello,
I regularly throw at the capture from the computer (desktop and laptop synonymous, both with XP SP2). It always comes just a few minutes without any problems and then 'Bätscher', total crashes). Incidentally, I have the same problem with the DVB-T Stick, synonymous only after a few minutes duration. On the memory is not, the block is ok. Have no other problems with the computers. Somehow, spinning only the applications, where graphics or image data stream into the PC. Has anyone any idea what can it be? I am really like the ox in front of the mountain!

If the crash that expresses that the PC shuts down and restarts only after 10-20 seconds, I suspect (from experience) that the processor is too hot. I had the problem with an AMD, the user simply switches off at 80 degrees, and the maximum processor load occurs when rendering and capturing (nunja). I had to unscrew the fan from the processor and to clean the heatsink, I saw the fins of sheer filth anymore.
Alternatively, it can be synonymous s.dem power supply, which if it happens with graphics and image processing, synonymous increases the demand for electricity.

I advise you the following procedure:
