In the price category, it is eigentl. no preference or taste. A stereo microphone, this offers a better spatial picture ...
What could be the main field ...?
Antwort von carstenkurz:
I think you need both a Stereomic as both the first AND a mono shotgun. There are meaningful for both missions and none of them can fulfill both functions.
However, these microphones for the 5D and 7D synonymous probably a waste of money. Unless Canon equips nochmal ne manual level control by firmware after.
At the moment there is unfortunately garnix of the 48KHz/16Bit, automatic audio control is ne disaster, significant short-term approach, enormous noise bursts. So that you can only absorb ne durcheinanderbrabbelnde wedding party.

Conclusion better still nen vernümpftiges sound recording equipment to buy!!
Recommending Of HHB - PortaDAT - PortaDisc - or if you have very thick - Porta Drive :-)
Then you can still work synonymous with other cameras later times and have always repays times s.Start clean sound ;-)

The 'just' popped Manual of the 7D describes the sound exactly like the 5D. Internal mono-Micro, external stereo microphone, but unfortunately only automatic audio control. So, fit only for reference pitch / flap.
Additional recorders therefore advisable, in fact.
