TMPGenc: 16:9, which Aspect Ratio / Source Aspect Ratio?
Frage von aljever: August 2006
Hello,
I would like to convert a DivX video (Resolution688x384 (1.79:1) [] According to GSpot) using TMPGenc 2.5 in a SVCD to s.Stehallein to look at it.
In the opening credits of the video will briefly display the information that it is a 16:9 movie.
But no preference, what combination of source aspect ratio and aspect ratio do I choose, always shows me the TMPGenc preview window when encoding eggheads or moon faces, sometimes more, sometimes less, but never the correct aspect ratio of the starting material.
As aspect ratio is available: 1:1 (VGA) 4:3 525 line (NTSC) 4:3 625 line (PAL) 16:9 525 line (NTSC) 16:9 625 line (PAL)
As a source aspect ratio is available: 1:1 (VGA) 4:3 525 line (NTSC) 4:3 525 line (NTSC, 704x480) 4:3 625 line (PAL) 4:3 625 line (PAL, 704x576) 16:9 525 line (NTSC) 16:9 625 line (PAL) 4:3 Display 16:9 display 2.11:1 Display
As video arrange method is available: Center Center (keep aspect ratio) Center (custom size) Full screen Full screen (keep aspect ratio) Full screen (keep aspect ratio 2) No margin (keep aspect ratio)
It would be very nice if someone could tell me what combination I should choose or how to otherwise riff to create a SVCD from that material with the correct aspect ratio. Thank you very much!

Do you have a sample image of your source material?
Good luck The thick Stefan

TV recording of arte. But with the setting MPEG2 - AR 4:3 display - SAR 1:1 (; VGA) works now, finally, in most cases.
However, the wizard spit some clips using the same settings yet again from eggs Koeppe, with me is not obvious, what else is s.denen.

And what is the source aspect ratio "Pixel 12:11 (PAL 4:3)" and "4:3 screen?
What do you take when you have StandartDVCAM material now exported from Premiere as 4:3 720x576 with 1.067 dingens?
