Hi have problems but with my new DV editing program driver problem ect. Has anyone experience with the Camera of Sonydie should indeed be able to play Hi8 tapes and digitally convert, so that the PC and the software can process the data.

I understand your problem not the camera, I have not synonymous, but if you put the movies on the PC want to bring, the PC needs a firewire card. Camera and PC via Firewire cable

Go with the Sony, as I have described above. I have a SonyTRV240, so an older but similar Camera.
From the recording on the TV card is generally discouraged. There are picture and sound are not synchronously. Which TV card do you have because you can order any watch TV. Your driver mentioned problem relates sih but safely on the TV card. To add a video about the TV card, you need to get yourself to any Camera Drivers.
