Hello,
I have several dance scenes filmed with my camcorder and would publish it now.
The scenes were filmed at events (commercial with admission) and are sanctioned by the organizers. Say there was this allowed us to publish.
Now the problem: In the background are quite a few pieces of music played in all likelihood is copyrighted by all. More or less at 100%!
Write to all publishers would certainly have no sense, universal, Sony, are all represented.
The music is not altered during processing. The videos will be offered free of charge on a website for downloading. Fallen here Gema fees or copyright complaints to?

The easiest way is to contact the GEMA in Munich. I had similar problems. GEMA's first statement was that I was not allowed to post the video because I do not share the music publishers.
