I'm absolutely Filmlaie and have the following problem:
For my film, I leave a new cassette (Sony DV Premium) to my camera (SONY DCR-TRV19E) inserted. After the tape was full, I noticed that except for the first few minutes (which will play without problems) all subsequent recordings no longer available. The clock signal is missing and the screen stays blue. After I inserted a new tape had revealed the Camera "Cleaning tape" to, but on this new tape without problems to record and play.
At home I have the "defective" in a different tape SONY camera inserted, but where only the first few minutes play went.
Are there still any hope that the recordings can be saved, or was the tape after the first few minutes is no longer just described?
Schon mal vielen Dank für Eure Hilfe!

If a second camera, the tape can not play, then perhaps there is no hope for your shots. If the original camera, however, a dejustierten head, then they should be able to play the tape. If not, then it is perhaps synonymous s.Tape.
Is it the orange Sony Premium tapes? I would in the future, a very large arched drum making. My experience was so far more than bad.

Hello Tommyb,
Thanks for the quick reply!
unfortunately ... yes, it is an orange-SONY cassette. On my searches on the Internet, I have become even more unhappy about this tape found. I will make this no longer use. Can you give me a specific brand recommended?
Is there a way with a particular device, etc. to see whether there is data on a cartridge are stored? I've heard that files, for example, on a computer hard drive were still physically present and the computer just can not find. Somehow this can be erased files, but still read. If it is so synonymous with my little tape there could possibly be the solution.
Many greetings

hard drive and DV tape media is not the same. If the data is physically still there would then need all the normal ongoing DV - anything and play somewhat synonymous. Be it only strips and Distorted Picture. But if nothing's really just black, then it must be assumed that apparently did not ever have been, for whatever reason always synonymous ... The message of your Camera "cleaning cassette" suggests dirty picture heads close. In connection with the infamous Sony Premium DV tapes, I would not be surprised ...
The question of the SUPER-tape does not exist. There are innumerable religious wars, which some users tend Panasonic tapes adore, but others TDK, or even synonymous Sony Premium ... This is an experience thing. I personally have a Panasonic GS-230 and have since the beginning s.die SUPER Panasonic MiniDV tapes (the Golden) is used. Have never had problems. What you should note, however, no preference for which Manufacturer: No mixed mode. If, then always with the same type remain synonymous and prefer a little more money to spend for the tapes with the knowledge something clever to use. Not the cheap no-name parts for 50 cent at discounters!
Another golden rule: The heads of the camera image is not only clean when the camera shows the "cleaning cassette," but already ensure that the heads are clean. Even cleaning tapes as little as possible, since the are like sandpaper and rub their heads and also the dirt just beautiful on the minds rumreiben.
A manual cleaning with rubbing alcohol and swab leather is better. However, this is not synonymous for gross motor and not for people who never have made. Then look for the camera professionally cleaned ...

So much faith relating to war, what I have already indicated above. My experience was: The first time I have a Sony Premium tape used, dropouts were promptly recorded and it has led to considerable abrasion led band, so I then had to clean my cam to ever record again and play it ...

My bad experiences with the premium tapes are based on some possibly cheap copies of Ebay.
This had a Russian gepappt sticker on it - perhaps it was fake parts, or simply imported tapes.
In any case, I have made several attempts and recorded on these tapes. Covered always "give where ne chance again." Sometimes we caught a very good copy and there are no dropouts throughout the tape. Then again, there is really creepy parts, so I leave since the fingers of.
Very good experience I have with Maxell made precisely with the 63 per computer. There is hierhere. Up to now not had a single problem (synonymous with multiple occupation - but that was only for testing), both with DV as synonymous with all forms of HDV. Although slightly more expensive than the very cheap, but safe is safe.

I had no problems so far with the Sony Premium tapes. The wiederbespielen does for me perfectly synonymous.
