So here synonymous tie. The EOS 550D is synonymous with image quality equal to Lowlightsituationen with the Canon EOS 7D, in video mode. strange for me to solve the 7D the Picture more elegant, but you can now see well s.diesen 400% Extract (sawtooth).
Antwort von Benzcologne:
Am for two days in the 550D has bundled together with the simple Lens EF-S 18-55. Was at first somewhat surprised Videoufnahmen try on the noise in the Picture and therefore optimize the settings to reduce the noise.
How does this contrast to an approximation, of the article is the question? so that the settings in "visual style are meant" where you can sharpness, contrast control, hue and Farbsättingung?
Other tips for minimal noise would be of interest to me (I very little experience with cameras, since I am rather out of the corner post).
Thanks and regards, Benjamin

Hi Russel,
Thanks for the hint.
You're right - we had focused too much on the image noise. I've corrected the text accordingly.

Since the 550D 7D VIDEO for production in my opinion, has become superfluous, unless you have specialized in events and supplies with the same body still synonymous to photos.
Ergonomics? After a few days with the 550D uses it as fast as any other Camera synonymous.
Does that mean that everyone must now 7D owners angry? Clearly not, the 7D is the better camera, only the price difference does not justify the only marginal difference in video quality.
However, once projects have only yesterday by a colleague, rotated with the 5D seen here and I still see the difference: a more dynamic and richer picture. (For me count the "real world" results, not measurement sizes).
The 60D might be due to swivel the display of the new price performance winner, able to turn the freedom of clean from different angles MMN justify the additional expenditure.
The next big throw but is unfortunately still, it is left to the 1Ds, lr a 5D III, higher contrast ratio and a better codec, the latter being in the range DSLR, Canon probably rather not implemented ...

If anything, the translation would be "reel world" or "wobble world," possibly even "Shake-world" (not in terms of earthquakes, but psychologically, but this is still cheese). Reel is only in conjunction with the fishing a role (reel).
If I'm wrong, please improve =)
But it will still be just a typo, R and E are right next to each other on the keyboard. So "real world". And with me it is just as, I prefer the experience of turning everyday any laboratory results. Labor movies with me somehow have an association with Pixelpeepen. The result in practice counts.

Conclusion
Anyone looking for a better alternative to video DSLR EOS 7D, without compromising the video quality, with the Canon EOS 550D is operated from the same company well. Ergonomically and for photography, although we would always have the EOS 7D prefer the 550D - but who is traveling primarily in terms of video and his video DSLR tinkering anyway in a rig, which the camera can be relatively ergonomics really no preference.
Since the 550D 7D VIDEO for production in my opinion, has become superfluous, unless you have specialized in events and supplies with the same body still synonymous to photos. Unfortunately, the one must not be left unchallenged.
The exact point of focus is particularly DSLR-depth with the most important thing in a production. How do I control the sharpness? Only with the display and lens unlikely, that would be a stopgap unprofessional. It takes just a little more seriously intentioned productions in external (mobile) monitors à la Marshall.
A
major difference between the 7D and the 550D is the output of the video signal via HDMI while recording. This is the 7D fully mastered in HD, the 550D jumps at the start after a recording mehrsekündigen black phase in the display only on SD! The professional image control during recording to external (mobile) monitors virtually unusable. Incidentally, the 5D Mk II delivers synonymous SD only via HDMI.
-> True advantage of the 7D!
Overall, the shots of Canon's not really sharp. An elderly 7D-test of this editorial has made this very clear. Let us hope that with the Nikon to be presented next week, "D7000 (D90 successor) again makes a leap far ahead of the competition.

thanks for the advice regarding Marshall (something I was looking for some time) and the LiveView HDMI HD output. Something like gold is worth, according to the latter seeks to in fact dimwitted. Is the live HD output probably something that is replenished by firmware can be / or is that the hardware (only one processor limited)?
Oh, and: What are the possibilities there are to multiply the HDMI Output (1x monitor, 1xLaptop/Recorder etc.)?
