Frage von Tico:hi erstmal! :)
I have the following problem ..
I have the Aldi laptop from last year, synonymous where there was a TV card here .. so, if all is well
I have included with the program hulls PowerProducer of VHS and this is then burned to DVD, SVCD or synonymous to ... if I SVCD or DVD synonymous on a regular DVD player (tried to play it with different DVD players), not the entire picture is visible, ie the left and right, and below what is cut off, at first glance ... But when the zoom function of the DVD player when using Picture halved, ie "1 / 2" sets, so the entire picture is visible ..
but this may indeed be a permanent solution ..
So:
how is it that the picture can be seen on the screen to complete?
Thank you in advance for the replies, hope you can help me! :)

Hello!
No error. Is normal. In the case of all the tube TVs of the edge is cropped (overscan). On LCD and plasma screens, I can not say anything.
Search Google simply time for "overscan".

Antwort von Tico:
is both the tube TV so as synonymous on the LCD screen, unfortunately: /
how do I get the overscan thing away, then?
nen I need to open this new thread? * g *
Antwort von Wiro:
Hello,
You are doing to you and your nerves the greatest pleasure, if you simply accept the norm as it is now time - and that means overscan and cut edges.
These cut edges run through the entire production chain. Even the cameraman sees in his viewfinder, only the truncated Picture and builds on its composition accordingly.
The editor sees on his screen control also only the truncated Picture, and the audience ultimately synonymous.
Außenherum that there is something else - forget about it.
All to make it that way.
Greeting Wiro
For those who already pointed the pencil, to contradict him: yes, I know that there are ProfiCAM where you can switch from viewfinder / display to full screen - it appears in the viewfinder with a framework of the Action Safe Area to allow the cameraman knows what will be on display at the spectator section.
And prof. Control monitors can switch to full screen, of course synonymous * ggg *
