If you do not have SVHS recorder via Composite You must go to gibts adapter (as for the Playstation only with in / out)

Or you are using an analog / digital converter of the analog signal from the VCR into a digital signal converted FireWire. Have the Magazine DIGITAL VIDEO AKTIV ever a report on this part:

read. With the whole seems to work well. It is important in my opinion, only that it goes via FireWire, and not via USB.

Since you "Line-In" to write, I assume that the connections and it is therefore germinates with me on the suspicion that it is a scart adapter for the import into the recorder and not for the issue involved. In this case, obtain another adapter.
The next problem could be that your recorder s.Scart no S-video outputs. Then should be at least a black and white Picture s.PC to be seen.
