One should perhaps say that the old form of "costly" s.stets was still valid and b) since 1 August 2006 of the Duden editorial synonymous recommended. De facto, the spelling is "burdensome" So again to be regarded as outdated.

Exactly, so the widely popular and overused Genitivisierung of the plural (apostrophe-multipoint figures) such as:
- 8 CD's
- Twelve DVD's
- The number of PC's
Even words like stagnant snack (snacks) are classified as "Snack's" in the plural set. Mir-kringeln-to-the-foot nails!
A perfect red rag for me are:
- LCD Display (forms: Liquid Crystal Display - Display)
- PIN number (issued: Personal Identification Number number)
I always find it sad that even these journals Dummkürzungen use and probably no second about what a Schmarrn they actually hinkritzeln!
