Go to the wiki page, use one of the recommended deinterlaced scripts> leg NEN "batch job" waiting for a few clips> and until it is ready.
The Progi is cool and can really score in many areas.

A nice point of contact for everything worth knowing is the Doom9 forum - but the guys there already small graces and you should read a long time and not immediately write (for example, question "What is the best ..." results in a closed thread because of rule violation).
Regarding quality:
There are several deinterlacer for Avisynth - on the "External Filters" page, there are a number of these.
Very good have proven tdeint example or yadif (the former is better). The picture quality is purely dependent on how anwedet the filters (there are only three really tdeint relevant setting options in the interpolated frames from Fields, bobber or hide).
