Gundolf Hello,
exactly what we have said synonymous and therefore there is a lot of movement in the test Slashcam Picture :-)
If you just look into it, you can recognize.
Move does the film spool in the background, s.der in almost all test images interlacing artifacts show and also turns our small robot diligently to himself, to recognize s.dessen blur s.den extremities.
Many greetings

It is, after all, video cameras ... Yes, because I agree. Only in this way can sometimes (too) small image chips in the cameras will be debunked. During a quiet pattern, still looks clean, some HDV / AVCHD cameras do not even have a stone wall or fence clean show, here suddenly catch fences in the background s.zu dance, moving walls and other unpleasant effects. Then, the image processor, the few pixels not correctly assign and the HD Picture is for the cat .....

Hi, again a comment about the new test!
1. The Picture with the current robot is good for the assessment. But have only now learned that the Roby moved. A notice on the website it would be good. But besides all of the EX1 camcorder cut more or less badly!
2. I think the ISO 12233-test image can better judge the sharpness, as only a small excerpt. Would be good if this is with the test would be.
3. What for me is even more important, would, as is the Picture, in pans, or if the Cam with a moving object mitzieht.
All HD cams I have tested cut poorly. They lose huge s.Schärfe here. Especially AVCHD are very bad! Assume that it has with the data to do so. 25MBit / s at 1440x1080 are just better than 17MBit / s, 1920x1080 - and then why does Blu Ray to 33Mbit / s?
Had me almost for the (now 3) HF10 decided, but the test with a swing I was discouraged to buy the Cam. In addition, the drag of sharpness when zooming a bit slow. melts because of the advantage then, no moving parts (tape, hard drive) and faster recording as HDV.
4. BTW, I cut zue with Magix Video Deluxe 2008 Pros. AVCHD capture, but only with additional Dolby 2.0 and MPEG4 codec, the latter will cost a few euros.
Then the stream can easily edit in 1920x1080 (in my SonyVaio VGN-AR61ZU) than MPEG2 off in 1920x1080, or HD-DVD or Blu Ray disc burn.
As a side effect! The camera pans in Jerkiness was lower.
Conclusion:
Additional testing in pans for me would be desirable.
